Clinical Case Formulation

Growth-focused logic modelling can be applied by clinicians to formulate intervention plans for clients presenting with clinical and non-clinical needs. It offers a method to integrate a wide range of intervention approaches (e.g., clinical, experiential and positive psychology) around a common set of growth outcomes.

A feature of the method is that the short-term outcomes (or areas of growth intent) are designed to be brought to awareness in moment-to-moment clinical or non-clinical practice. Clinicians or other supporting adults are encouraged to bring ongoing mindful awareness (and intentionality) to the “what” (outcomes) and the “how” (method) through their treatment planning and moment-to-moment clinical or non-clinical support.
